IMPROVER RULES-As an improver our club will allow any improver rider to either one or two hand in an open bit. The rule is that if you begin to compete 2 handed, you remain 2 handed through out the class. If you begin one handed your must remain one handed unless you feel you are loosing control of your horse.
Western Classes Attire is cowboy hat or helmet, long sleeved shirt with collar, jeans, belt approved western boots. English Classes Attire jodhpurs, long sleeve white shirt with brooch preferably with a hunt jacket and long or short riding boots. All ridden classes must be ridden in a safe saddle and bridle . Any style, English, Western or Stock.
RULE ENFORCEMENT– It has been the rule for some time both under the PHAA rules and AQHA rule 59.11 that in Halter classes there must be 2 horses challenging for Champion/Reserve for them to be awarded and points received. If there is only one horse there will be no Champion / Reserve sashes awarded. This will be across the board equally for Paints, Paint Breds and Quarter Horses. PHAA RULES-rule 233. CHAMPION AND RESERVE CHAMPION If three or more horses contest f or Champion, the Champion will be awarded 1 additional point and 1/2 point for Reserve Champion. If only two horses contest the award, 1/2 point will be awarded for Champion and no points for Reserve Champion. If only one horse competes for Champion, no points will be given. Supreme or Grand Champions shall receive one additional point. Points awarded f or Champion, Grand Champion or Supreme Champion will not be multiplied for national championship, state championship or other shows as specified in Rule 218. ‘National’ and ‘State’ champions awarded at National and State championship shows do not receive additional points other than the specified points for each class, they are eligible for Grand or Supreme champion points. |

We have 3 buckles for Hi Point winners. Tri Series will be run again, to be eligible competitors MUST show at all three shows, November, December and February shows. The Categories will be: In Hand: halter, HIH, Hack, Showmanship, Improver, Open Performance: Ridden Open to all Classes. |

Attire for Encouragement Youth classes-Long sleeve buttoned shirt, jeans or joddies, approved riding boots, Approved helmet or western hat, any style of saddle is accepted that is in safe condition, children may use any bit. They may use 2 hands if in a bit or snaffle regardless of the age of the horse. The encouragement classes are designed for the raw beginner children who are just starting their career in showing. They may show in encouragement classes only until confident to transfer into the regular youth classes. Standard western attire and tack must be adhered to for the youth classes as they are point earning classes and not club regulated.

At Aaron Park parking can become a problem if we do not park carefully. Next show you will be directed to park in designated areas. Larger vehicles need to carefully park at the back of the arena and floats will be directed to park on an angle facing out to avoiding any backing. |

The multi judge show is being sponsored by “Western Trails” Andrew and Shelly Da Silva. They have donated buckles for Hi Point Paint, Paint Bred, Appaloossa and Quarter Horse. Each class will be calculated as an over all inclusive of halter.
